Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist?

No, you don’t need a referral to book an appointment with us. However, some insurance plans require one for coverage—check with your provider to be sure.

Is physiotherapy covered by my insurance or benefits plan?

Most extended health plans include physiotherapy coverage. We can direct bill many insurance providers to make the process easier for you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your health card, insurance details, any referral notes, imaging results (like X-rays or MRIs), and wear or bring comfortable clothing that allows movement.

What happens during the first visit?

Your physiotherapist will take a detailed history, assess your condition, explain what’s happening, and start a personalized treatment plan. You may also receive your first treatment the same day.

How long is each session, and how many sessions will I need?

Initial appointments are usually 45–60 minutes, and follow-ups are about 30 minutes. The number of sessions depends on your condition, goals, and progress—we’ll discuss this with you after your assessment.
