FAQ

New patients always have a few questions about our clinics and we love hearing them.

Here are a few questions and answers for your review.

If your question is not listed, please contact us.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist?

No, you do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment at our clinics. However, some insurance companies do require a referral in order to bill for an appointment.

Are your clinics OHIP funded?

No, our clinics are private, therefore we do not accept OHIP cards.

Do you direct bill for my appointments?

In most cases we are able to direct bill to your primary insurance provider. However, it is important to note that each insurance policy is different. In some cases, you may be required to pay in the clinic and submit the receipt on your own.

I was a patient over a year ago, do I need a new assessment?

Yes, a lot can change in a year. For new injuries or for appointments booked over a year ago, we require a new initial assessment. This helps us ensure we have enough time to thoroughly review your health history and any changes that may have occurred.
